What I’ll Do Differently on Day One

The stories I’ve heard from former employees of the Clerk’s Office are disturbing—20 employees resigning in just four years from a staff of 14. A culture of intimidation, where surveillance is used to harass staff, personal cell phones are demanded for inspection, and workplace feuds are stirred up for entertainment. Racial slurs, absentee leadership, and a toxic environment have become the norm—all while the current Clerk boasts that she’s “untouchable” and “loves her paycheck.”

This behavior is unacceptable. The Clerk’s Office should serve the people of Delaware County—not be a personal fiefdom where good employees live in fear.

Because it’s an elected office, the only way to change it is at the ballot box this November. And if you agree that we deserve better, I’m asking for your vote.

When I’m elected, that toxic culture ends on Day One.

I will treat every employee with respect—not just as workers, but as people.

I will celebrate life’s milestones, not punish them—whether it’s maternity or paternity leave, or a week off for a honeymoon.

I will build a professional, fair, and welcoming work environment—one that attracts and retains great staff.

I will be transparent and accountable to the people of Delaware County.

And I will put an end to the costly lawsuits caused by mismanagement—saving taxpayers money and restoring integrity to the office.

Let’s bring back Respect. Integrity. Accountability.

Vote Tyler Frederick for Clerk of Municipal Court this November—because Delaware County deserves better.
